Meet the Global Teen Challenge Team
Jerry Nance President and CEO
Jerry Nance is one of those rare individuals who cross our path all too infrequently, yet our lives are powerfully impacted for having known them. He has all the impressive academic qualifications: a B.S. in Religious Studies from Southwestern College, his Masters in Counseling from Barry University, and a PhD in Philosophy, Leadership and Education with a specialization in Counseling from Barry University, but that's not who Jerry Nance is. The one word which best describes Jerry is "servant."
Whether as an associate pastor or the senior pastor of a local church, or Crusade Associate for David Wilkerson, the founder of Teen Challenge, Jerry has lived out Christ's example of servant leadership. His compassion for those who struggle with drug addiction compels him to develop multiple inner city outreaches and now to assist the leadership for centers in various countries around the world. He continues to serve on regional and national boards.
Beginning with his leadership as Executive Director of Teen Challenge of Florida / Georgia in 1991, this ministry has grown to fourteen centers in Florida and five in Georgia, caring for over 985 boys, girls, men and women.
Jerry and his wife Libby are proud to be the parents of three grown children and four grandchildren.

As Global Teen Challenge receives requests from countries appealing for help with their addiction problems, we travel there to preach, motivate, organize and train people in order to set up a rehabilitation center. We work with churches, Bible colleges, government agencies, pastors, and interested individuals. Our goal is to identify people who God is calling to this ministry and equip them to carry it out.”
