Director of Community Relations

Carol Ridley serves as Director of Community Relations for Global Teen Challenge and Teen Challenge Southeast.  Her professional and accomplished career in management with an emphasis in servant leadership, human resources, and risk management for Synovus for twenty-seven years brings a strong foundation to develop public relations strategies that promote and support Teen Challenge’s mission and vision. Her interpersonal communications and team-building experience support our focus on building rapport and nurturing relationships with community leaders, groups and organizations and developing strong teams of volunteers to support various community events and outreach programs.

Carol has a servant’s heart for her church, her community, and her family. She serves in a leadership role as Director of Women’s Ministries for her church which gives her opportunities to minister, teach, and mentor women of all ages; she has served as a mentor for the Servant Leadership Program at Columbus State University and as an Advisory Board member and chairperson for the Columbus Regional Youth Detention Center; and last, but not least, is the proud grandmother of six grandchildren and two great-grands.

Psalm 28:7-8, “The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him, and He helps me.  My heart leaps for joy and with my song I praise Him.
