Global Teen Challenge is a non-profit organization on a mission to help men, women, boys, and girls in every nation find freedom from life-controlling addiction.

Imagine waking up each day in shackles. They are cold. They are incredibly heavy. You must drag them around through your home, to the grocery store, and out to dinner. Their rough edges digging deep into your flesh are a painful reminder that they are always there. If there is a key to unlock them, you don’t know where to find it.

This is what addiction feels like. It doesn’t belong to one culture or one country. It doesn’t discriminate by race, gender, or economic class. It overwhelms anyone who provides an open door, and then demands first place. The addiction can be drugs. It can be alcohol. It can be any life-controlling substance.

It is an epidemic. Addicts are getting younger and the addictions more severe. As the plague spreads deeper into every nation, there are few people and programs equipped to put an effective end to it.

But there is hope. The key to freedom is not lost. Teen Challenge has been helping people find freedom from life-controlling addiction since our beginning in 1958. We have seen thousands of people rehabilitated, thousands of families restored, and thousands of communities strengthened. In 1995, we took our life-changing programs to the nations - to schools, prisons, neighborhoods, and alleyways where tens of thousands more people are crying for help.

We invite you to imagine the weight of their shackles. For a moment, allow yourself to fathom their loss, carry their pain, and feel their despair.

Join Global Teen Challenge in our mission to give people around the world a second chance at finding a healthy and fulfilled addiction-free life. Your compassion and determination can transform nations, one person at a time.

"Determine that the thing can and shall be done, and then we shall find the way."
